There was a time when Irrfan Khan had to toil to get good roles. For filmmakers then, he wasn’t a face to be called a hero. But perseverance always pays off. Today, he is spoilt for choices.
After Jurassic Park and host of other movies in his kitty at present, the actor will now be seen with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in Piku.
The film will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. The first schedule of the film will begin in August 2014. Piku emphasises on the beautiful father and daughter bond with Irrfan playing a pivotal character.
Piku is being produced by MSN Motion Pictures in association with Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films.
Deepika Padukone has emerged as the best in business right now and will surely add to the talent and glamour quotient. Also, Shoojit Sircar as director means he will not compromise on anything.
With Mr. Bachchan, Deepika and Irrfan in one film, one can only imagine a great project in the offing.
