The tweet caught Anurag’s attention and thus began the war on Twitter. Anurag slammed back by tweeting “@RGVzoomin sir i love you too much.. now put that Vodka aside and sleep.. lots of kisses.”

@RGVzoomin then lets have filter coffee together soon to celebrate the AAG.. — Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) May 18, 2015
@anuragkashyap72 And in the course of having Coffee with Karan maybe we can learn from him how not to make Aag’s and make Kuch Kuch’s

But well, this isn’t the first time that Ram Gopal Varma tried to fuel the “AAG” and take shot at Anurag Kashyap for Bombay Velvet. The day the film hit silver screens, Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma tweeted saying, “The bottom line is everyone makes an AAG and till he makes his own AAG he will bitch about others AAGS until he too burns in his own AAG.” This wasn’t it for Ram Gopal Varma. He went on a Twitter spree and bashed the film and the director even more. Not only that, but he also called Karan Johar the only Velvet in the film while rest is coarse.
Karan Johar is the only Velvet and the rest is coarse
