From Vicky Donor to Nautanki Saala and now his latest film Bewakoofiyaan, Ayushmann Khurrana has essayed roles of a jobless guy. This talented actor, who made a successful shift from television to films is very upbeat about his latest film Bewakoofiyaan.
In an innovative way of marketing his film, actor Ayushmann Khurrana will be singing and dancing on the road tomorrow in south Mumbai. Ayushmann, who will be seen in Bewakoofiyaan opposite Sonam Kapoor, will be doing a gig for a flash mob at Nariman Point outside a popular restaurant, sources said.
While planning the activity, the team decided to have it around this area as it was in synchronisation with the content of the film, they said. In Bewakoofiyaan, Ayushmann plays a person working in a corporate setup and someone who is removed from his job.
Hence, the team thought to have the flash mob in a corporate area. Bewakoofiyaan is being produced by Yash Raj Films, is directed by Nupur Asthana and is all set to release on March 14, 2014.
Later this year, one will get to see Ayushmann Khurrana in Maneesh Sharma’s movie titled Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
The actor’s female co-star in the film is former Yash Raj Films employee Bhumi Pednekar, who will be marking her acting debut with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, where Bhumi and Ayushmann will play a middle class married couple in the film.
Dum Laga Ke Haisha revolves around the life of a small town couple – Prem and Sandhya. From overcoming his fear of the English language to dealing with an overbearing father, Prem (Ayushmann Khurrana) discovers that his oversized and mismatched wife, Sandhya (Bhumi Pednekar), who he thought was a spanner in his business and life, will actually lead him to something quite cool.
Directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by director Maneesh Sharma, the film is slated to hit theatres later this year.
Here’s wishing this talented actor all the best and we do hope that both his films set the Box Office on fire.
