B-Town Remembers Kishore Kumar On His 86th Birth Anniversary

Bollywood’s versatile and legend singer Kishore Kumar who had entertained the industry and audiences with his evergreen songs inluding Yeh Shaam Mastani’, ‘Khaiyke Paan Benaras Wala’ celebrates his 86th birth anniversary today on August 4th.

He is considered as one of the most successful playback singers of the Bollywood film industry, who brought many hit master pieces including “Maana janaab Ne Pukara Nahin”, “Yeh jo mohabbat Hai”, “O hansini meri hansini”, “Roop tera mastana”, “Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si”, “Haal kaisa hai janaab ka”, “Neele neele ambar par” and “Aise na mujhe tum dekho’ and many others.

The legend has also become an inspiration to many reigning singers as well as for the actors today. Apart from his stupendous singing talent, Kishore da was a talent of bundle with such as composing, lyricist, acting, direction, production and scriptwriter. The multi talent Kishore da was first spooted by RD Burman after which his talent went raging at top in Bollywood and must say it’s still remembered.

Along with RD Burman, Kishore Da formed which ensured a chartbuster whenever they came together in duet. The duo have sung some of the most loved melodious tracks to acting legends like Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan.

Tinsel town actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vishal Dadlani and many others took to their twitter handle to wish cinematic legendary singer Kishore Kumar on his 86th birthday.
