Zoya Akhtar‘s new directorial venture Dil Dhadakne Do has a huge multi cast including Anil Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma and Shefali Shah. Now all these busy stars have suddenly been asked to report for the shoot a month in advance.
Since the shoot is aboard a cruise liner and the liner company can only lease the ship in May, the six super busy stars have to realign their dates.
Zoya is in an absolute fix and everyone’s dil is beating fast trying to readjust dates. A source revealed,”There is absolute chaos in Excel as the actors have to go through some workshops too.” Zoya Akhtar was trying her best to book the liner for June but to no avail.
In Dil Dhadakne Do, Farhan has a pivotal role and he is excited to start shooting for his first film of 2014. It can be also noted that he will be back shooting after a gap almost five to six months. In all this time Farhan has been looking into the pre-production of films his banner Excel Entertainment is producing. At the same time he has also extensively been doing city visit with his band Farhan Live.
Zoya Akhtar personally flew to South Africa and Italy to check the availability. The producer Ritesh Sidhwani was compelled to visit Brazil to check out cruise liners and finally Spain was selected.
The mega stars of Dil Dhadakne Do will leave Mumbai around May 13, 2014 and will shoot for ninety days. Every weekend will be spent at Barcelona.
Booking the liner for the shoot was a tough job. Zoya flew down to South Africa and Italy to check out the different cruises on offer. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani made a trip to Brazil before they zeroed in on Spain.
Zoya Akhtar‘s Dil Dhadakne Do is reported to be a story about a dysfunctional Punjabi family. The film is slated to release around June 05, 2015.
