Bollywood celebrities are now coming forward and voicing their opinion on different matters. Some of which concern them on a personal level. First it was the controversial AIB Roast, and now it’s the ‘Beef Ban’ that took the Internet by storm.
To exercise their right to freedom of speech, our Bollywood celebrities took to their Twitter accounts and posted their views on the recent ‘beef ban’ sanctioned by Maharashtra government. According to which the possession and/or the sale of beef is banned in the state of Maharashtra. Mumbai being the hub of most of Bollywood celebrities who opt to dine as they wish this news came as a shocker.
Bollywood actors like Farhan Akhtar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, Radhika Apte, Nimrat Kaur, Uday Chopra and Vir Das were some of the celebrities who opposed and mocked the ban on beef with sarcastic and witty tweets using the metaphor ‘beef’ as in having grudge with someone.
