MUMBAI: Popular reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 7’, which airs on Colors, has managed to grab a fair share of eyeballs in the U.K, to emerge as the top watched show on Asian television (on Sunday night).
According to data obtained by Biz Asia, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ has seen viewership shoot through the roof, with the show garnering a peak of 142,300 viewers. In second position was comedy TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, which airs at 22:05 with 49,000 viewers.
In comparison, ‘Bigg Boss 7’ stands at 3rd position in India (source here).
Even when ‘Bigg Boss 7’ premiered, the TRP’s (Television Rating Point) or TVT’s (Television Viewership in Thousands) was exceeded by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ show.
The Gross TVT’s of Week 38 (when Bigg Boss 7 premiered) were as follows:

– Kaun Banega Crorepati: 5176
