The gallant alluring lady turns a year old today, and yes she has achieved a lot more than anyone else in this industry.
Ekta born on 7th June 1975, started her career in the year 1995, by producing Hum Paanch, a family sitcom which she produced under the banner of her production house Balaji Telefilms. The sitcom was a huge success and even today is regarded as one of the all time favourite comedies. Ever since the inception of her production house, there is no looking back for this zestful lady. She later produced some of India’s biggest Television serials like Kahaanii Ghar Ghar Kii, Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhii Bahu thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and many many more.
Ekta Kapoor always had a peculiar way of making her daily soap operas, the actors would flaunt themselves in expensive designer clothes, their homes would be huge mansion and would ride luxury cars, her family drama revolves around family’s little politics and to no one’s surprise, Ekta‘s calibre is just incomparable.
Not just limiting her self to serial productions, the prowess lady has made a mark in producing some of industry’s biggest blockbusters. She ventured into Bollywood’s movie production with Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta and later produced many films under her subsidiary banner Balaji Motion Pictures. Ragini MMS 2, Dirty Picture, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara, Main Tera Hero remain to be some of the successful movie ventures carried out by Ekta Kapoor.
Ekta has always been in nap of controversies, she was accused of being regressive for her saas-bahu sagas and kitchen politics and also with her movies like Kya Super Kool Hain Hum and Dirty Picture, Ekta faced a lot of trouble dealing with the censor board. But however, she silenced one and all and today she proves to be one of Bollywood’s most successful producers, and is considered to be one of the strongest players in the film fraternity and the very prowess Ekta finds this neck to neck competition very fabulous and healthy.
The lady who turns 38 today, however has no marriage plans and neither we can see any signs of her getting settle, she is happy with her work and she visions to achieve a lot more, and undoubtedly she is the ultimate star behind today’s Indian Cinema.
