Yesterday was a sad day for India as eminent cartoonist RK Laxman passed away at the age of 94, at Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. Bollywood celebs like Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, Ameesha Patel, music directors Vishal and Shekhar mourned the death of RK Laxman.
RK Laxman was loved by all the Indians, irrespective of their stature. He was known as ‘common people’s man’ after his iconic cartoon character ‘Common Man’. He died at the age of 94, due to multiple organ failure. Bollywood celebs tweeted to express their grief on this sad occasion.

The Maharashtra State government has agreed upon to honour RK Laxman with a state funeral to be conducted at Pune.
