MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, who tied the knot with actress Genelia D’souza earlier in February this year, has had his first birthday after marriage today – the handsome actor has turned 38. Trained as an architect, Riteish was really noticed after his performance in ‘Masti’ (2004).
But the young actor began his acting career with ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’ (2003), coincidentally opposite his new wife Genelia D’Souza. Since then, he has starred in a range of movies – from ‘Heyy Babyy’, ‘Dhamaal’, ‘Housefull’, ‘Double Dhamaal’, to ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’, ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’. He is now attempting another sequel to ‘Masti’, titled ‘Grand Masti’ and is set to launch his own production house with a Marathi film called ‘Balak Palak’.
Riteish who lost his father, Vilasrao Deshmukh (Ex-Minister of Maharashtra) in August this year to multiple organ failure, is understandably not celebrating his birthday with a big bash or party.
But he is much loved by many B’Town celebrities, and the birthday wishes are pouring in on Twitter, and the actor is responding to the love. Here’s wishing Riteish a Happy Birthday!
