2014’s film Children Of War is a film based on the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War. Directed by Mrityunjay Devrat, the film tells a story about how rape and religion were used as weapon of war. The story of the film tells shows us how Bangladesh came into existence in 1971, and focuses on the genocide and take us through the dark journey when 400,000 women were raped and 3 million people were killed. The film is dark, hard hitting, disturbing and provocative. It stars Raima Sen, Tillotama Shome, Indraneil Sengupta, Pavan Malhotra and Farooq Sheikh.
