Anushka Sharma- Diljit Dosanjh- Suraj Sharma starrer Phillauri collection falls on its first Monday at the Box Office.
Anushka Sharma- Diljit Dosanjh- Suraj Sharma starrer Phillauri, which released last Friday, witnessed the opening of around 20% at the Box Office. The film collected decent Rs 3.65 crore net approx. (36 million) on its first day and has continued its decent run at the Box Office. However, the film witnessed a drop in the collection on its first Monday.
The film, which sees Anushka Sharma in a role of friendly spirit as Shashi, earned Rs 4.75 crore (47 million) net approx on Saturday and Rs 5.50 crore (55 million) net approx on Sunday.

Phillauri has witnessed a noticeable fall on Monday and has collected Rs 1.75 crore (17.5 million) nett approx on its first Monday. With Diljit Dosanjh’s presence in the film, Phillauri was expected to do a good business in Punjab and Delhi. However, the film could not live up to expectations there.
Now it remains to see if Gudi Padwa holiday works for the film and if it can pick up again on its first Tuesday at the Box Office. The film has collected Rs 15.75 crore (157.5 million) nett approx in 4 days. The film is looking forward to closing the week at around Rs 20 crore nett.
Phillauri is directed by debutant Anshai Lal, written by Anvita Dutt and produced by Fox Star Studios and Clean Slate Films (Anushka’s production banner with brother Karnesh Sharma).
