The Katrina–Sidharth starrer is based on time travel. The movie had amazing promotions and super hit songs. But the plot was not intriguing enough and therefore could not do wonders at the box office. The total first-week collection of the film comes to Rs. 29 crore net approx. (290 million)
‘Freaky Ali’ also lacked in its earnings. The film was already going slow during the weekdays in spite of the holidays. The Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer earned Rs.12 crore net approx. (120 million)
The two films lacked in their reviews and also the word of mouth publicity was not very positive which in turn affected their audience. Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Akira’ has also fared pretty low at the box office with just a total of Rs. 27 crore net approx. (270 million)
