Box Office: Salman Khan’s Sultan Creates History On Third Day

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma have all the reasons to be happy with their film ‘Sultan’. The much-awaited film not only fared extremely well on the first day of its release but it also created a mark on the second and the third day. ‘Sultan’ directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is based on the theme of wrestling.

The masses were eager for the film since its inception. The collections have now broken all the records at the box office. After an impressive advance booking, the opening of the film was gigantic. Moreover, the second-day collections were also commendable.

Salman Khan plays the role of a wrestler in the film whereas Anushka is his love interest. People have applauded the film and have also tagged it as an entertainer. The film has hit the 100 crore mark.

The third-day collection of ‘Sultan’ comes to Rs. 33 crore net approx. The film has not seen a drop in its collections except for a few numbers here and there. The collections since the first day have been above 30 crore.

The total collection of ‘Sultan’ for all the three days comes to Rs. 106 crore net approx.

Dhoom 3 was the only film that had collected over Rs 30 crore in three consecutive days, collecting Rs 98 crore net approx. This film is a three day record breaker beating even Bajrangi Bhaijaan which was Rs 101.82 crore net approx.

Salman Khan’s these two films Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have made a mark in three days. The collections have been magnificent in the areas of UP, Delhi and other metropolitan cities.
