Sana Saeed Wants To Go From SRK’s Daughter To Love-Interest

Sana Saeed, who played the Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Anjali in Karan Johar's 1998 superhit 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', wants to now romance the superstar.

MUMBAI: Remember the cute girl who played Anjali, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, in Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’? It’s been 15 years since that film released and Shah Rukh Khan has moved on from romancing young women like Kajol and Rani Mukherjee to other younger women like Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.

Which is why, Sana Saeed, the young girl who played the aforementioned Anjali, thinks she has a chance of playing King Khan’s love-interest in some forthcoming film.

The now-24-year-old girl used to call the actor ‘Shah Rukh uncle’ when she was an eight-year-old, which was when she acted in the 1998 hit. “During ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, I was so young, I did not even realise that I was working with THE Shah Rukh Khan. And he would pamper me like a kid, taking me in his lap,” Sana Saeed says.

“I’d definitely love to play Shah Rukh’s heroine,” she gushes. Sana does not even call him ‘uncle’ anymore.

What do you say, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and Shah Rukh Khan fans? Should Sana Saeed get to play King Khan’s heroine, or does it feel a tad too creepy? Last we heard, Karan Johar was still casting for his next film, perhaps he could take these two for it.
