Sushant Singh Rajput starrer M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story has been receiving an immense response and is minting huge numbers at the Box office. Well, Dhoni’s fan following is envious and everyone was eager to witness his journey on the silver screen.
The film became second highest opener of the year and saw a magnificent weekend. The film kept a good hold on the weekend but the collections of the film dropped down on Monday.
M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story collected Rs 20 crore (200 million) nett approx on Friday, Rs 19 crore (19 million) nett approx on Saturday and Rs. 23 crore (230 million) nett approx on Sunday, taking the total weekend collection to Rs 62 crore net approx. The film showed a good growth day wise but the collections dropped down to 65% on Monday.

M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story collected Rs 7 crore net approx. (70 million) on Monday, taking the total to around Rs 68.75 crore net approx. (687 million). Though the overall collection of the film is too good but the collections dropped drastically on Monday. Even major cities in Delhi and UP have seen major fall, which wasn’t expected. Not only in North, the collections of the film have dropped in all the markets.
Well, the very advantage of the film was a good weekend. The film collected a huge amount on weekend and has already put a big figure on the board despite low Monday collections. The Dhoni biopic has to keep a good hold on Tuesday to see a good closing one-week collection. The 8th day of the film will decide its lifetime business and should easily cross Rs. 100 crore mark.
It remains to see what magic the film creates in the coming days, as there is no big release, which will turn out to be a major profit for M.S Dhoni-The Untold Story.
