MUMBAI: The lead actors of ‘Shootout At Wadala’ – John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor – share a lot more than just screen space. The trio has become good friends and fitness buddies.

All the three stars look stunning in the promos of the film. John was always known to be fit, even inspiring his co-stars to do the same. In fact, during ‘Race 2’, Saif Ali Khan had confessed that he was inspired by John’s fitness and had begun concentrating on his own work-out regime as well.

Now, its Anil and Tusshar who share the fitness bond with the star. “Fitness is something we actually bond over. And we enjoy it, really,” said John, just before 53-year-old Anil Kapoor said he’s as young as John, with Tusshar not backing off and claiming to be just 24!

After having worked with John previously, Anil said, “Actually, I am a good listener and I don’t believe that we should learn only from the elders. The youngsters also – like John – can teach us a thing or two.”

Giving insight into their friendship the actor added, “In fact, even in Turkey when we (John and Anil) were shooting for ‘Race 2’, we’d often hang out and gym together. And by the way, Tusshar too has a super duper fitness record.”

John has played the role of a bad guy multiple times, in ‘Dhoom’ (2004) ‘Zinda’ (2006) and ‘Race 2’ (2013). When asked if he liked playing the bad guy more, John replied, “Anytime! I love to do that (play the bad guy)!”

‘Shootout at Wadala’ directed by Sanjay Gupta featuring John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor and Sonu Sood in lead roles was earlier set to release on May 1, 2013, but has now been postponed to May 3, 2013.
