MUMBAI: Bollywood’s legendary comedian and irrepressible funny man Govinda is back with a bang! The 90’s superstar is all set to turn judge, for an Indian model hunt reality TV show.
Govinda has been roped in to the hot seat, to play judge to the reality TV show participants. Clad in a shiny silver suit, the hilarious actor cracked a few jokes while speaking about his judging capabilities.
Ever the modest star, Govinda confessed that he gets nervous when asked to judge any competition. “I get nervous when I have to judge. There is so much talent around. It is difficult to judge. Tulasidas ji offered me something which I could not say no to. It is pretty interesting concept. There’s talent, music, entertainment and drama of course. India is going to love it.”
The producer of the Indian Model Hunt 2013, P. S. Tulsidas was visibly excited to get Govinda on board. “We were aware of the fact that Govinda doesn’t really judge reality shows but if this show had to happen, it had to have Govinda and we have him. Auditions have begun in full spring pan India,” he said.
Govinda is famous for his super funny films in the 90’s, including ‘Hero No. 1’ and ‘Haseena Maan Jaayegi’, both opposite Karisma Kapoor.
