MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput, TV’s blue-eyed boy who made his Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kai Po Che’, is seemingly riding high on the success of his maiden film. The talented actor has now been signed on for Kapoor’s next production ‘Fitoor’, where he will be seen romancing none other than Katrina Kaif!
Sushant’s modest beginnings from TV’s favourite daily soap to his journey as a star in Bollywood has been a dream-run of sorts. The actor picked up accolades and awards for his performance in ‘Kai Po Che’, and caught the attention of many Bollywood filmmakers keen to cast him in their next ventures.
Having already bagged ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ opposite Parineeti Chopra and ‘Peekay’ with Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, Sushant is gearing up to be paired on screen with Bollywood’s heroine numero uno aka Katrina Kaif.
‘Fitoor’ is an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, and will star Sushant Singh Rajput and Katrina Kaif in leading roles.
