Whether they like it or not, they get dragged into many of them which gets cemented in cinema history. Arjun Rampal too couldn’t escape a few controversies in his life which has greatly nurtured audience’s perception for him. Here are some of his controversies.
1. Arjun Rampal had a great equation with Ranbir Kapoor when they worked together in Prakash Jha’s Rajneeti but it seems Roy spoiled it. Apparently, Ranbir was just supposed to a cameo in the film but his role later got meatier. This obviously didn’t go down well with Arjun who was supposedly the lead in the film.
2. When Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan decided to go separate ways after 13 years of marriage, fingers were pointed at Arjun. Media went crazy allegedly charging Arjun of foiling the marriage. The actor had to issue a statement to quell the rumours.
3. Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan had become best buddies after working together in Om Shanti Om and Don. But post Ra.One, differences started to seep in between the two creating a ruckus. Today, they share cold vibes.
4. This has to be the weirdest controversy anyone can fall into. Apparently, Ram Gopal Varma had gone to Arjun Rampal with a script for narration. But he could go there, the director remarked on how he doesn’t like people who have dogs and kids. Arjun’s wife flipped out at this remark and showed him the door. Later both the parties denied the incident.
5. IPL after parties too became the bane of his life since it was his idea and events. Many balmed the poor performance of the players on the field to this after parties which eventually fell on Arjun.
