MUMBAI: Fans of Salman Khan as ‘Chulbul Pandey’: rejoice! For the latest poster from the muscular Khan’s film, ‘Dabangg 2’, is out. And here’s our take on it:

The poster was revealed yesterday, and die-hard Salman Khan fans are left gasping and wanting for more. For all we see in the official poster is Salman in his signature ‘Dabangg’ pose; with his back turned to the camera and sunglasses suavely perched on his collar back.

What’s new is the twist in the visual tale and the state of Salman’s sunglasses. This time around, the sunglasses are cracked, and are reflecting shards of light. There is an ominous looking bullet-hole shape on the lower lens.

This probably symbolizes the ‘Dabangg’ dude has been attacked somehow, but has survived the battle and has emerged victorious. As is obvious, Salman Khan defeats all odds, and emerges the hero.

Fans will be most eager to see what antics Salman as eccentric cop ‘Chulbul Pandey’ has indulged in, in this sequel.

The dialogues and scenes from the first film were extremely loved and well received by the adoring audience. In the first installment, Chulbul Pandey was appreciated for his quick wit and humour, and the cop’s dialogues proved to be a rage among Salman lovers.

Also, feeding the ‘Dabangg’ frenzy, this time the new Khan in B’town – Kareena Kapoor will be performing an item number titled ‘Fevicol’ choreographed by Farah Khan. Kareena started shooting the ‘Fevicol’ song from November 5 onwards.

This is the first time Kareena returns to the arc lights after her much talked about wedding on October 18.

Revealed the Director of ‘Dabangg’, Arbaaz Khan, “We’re tying up with an adhesive company for Kareena Kapoor’s item song. It’s been sung in a very earthy way by Mamta Sharma, so that it sounds like ‘Phebikol’ in the number. Salman will be joining Kareena, just like he joined Malaika in ‘Munni badnaam’.”

With this seemingly mini first look glimpse out, we are now awaiting the trailer of the film, which promises to be bigger, better and bolder than its predecessor.

A source has informed, that Salman has invited brother Arbaaz Khan on his reality show ‘Bigg Boss 6’ as the celebrity guest on Nov 9 to unveil the teaser trailer!

‘Chulbul Pandey’ fans will surely come to love Bollywood’s most lovably corrupt cop in the sequel. ‘Dabangg 2’ releases in December 2012.
