MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone was spotted scorching the red carpet, like the uber stylish fashionista that she is, at the Grazia Young Fashion Awards in Mumbai.
Deepika was recently seen in Mumbai, attending the high-profile do. Looking gorgeous and ethereal in a pale gold, almost nude coloured gown, she was seen exiting her building and getting into her car.
Once at the awards, she looked poised and elegant, as she glided over the red carpet for the magazine’s fashion awards and was awarded the ‘Girl Of the Year 2013’. Also spotted at the awards night were handsome hunk John Abraham, who was macho as ever in a light linen suit and Diana Penty.
Diana Penty, of ‘Cocktail’ fame was seen in an edgy black pantsuit, and curly ringlets in her hair. Dipannita Sharma and ‘Dhobi Ghat’ star Monica Dogra were among the other Bollywood personalities present.
Meanwhile, paens are being sung to Deepika’s hard work and legendary dedication, with almost everyone vouching for the fact that she takes her job as an actress very seriously. While on sets in Wai, shooting for Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’ with Shah Rukh Khan, she complied with director Ayan Mukherjee’s request to dub for ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’.
