MUMBAI: A city store recently played host to David Dhawan’s ‘Chashme Baddoor’ boy and girl. The duo were promoting the film, which released yesterday in theatres.
‘Chashme Baddoor’ stars Divyendu Sharma and Taapsee were caught enjoying a shopping spree at K Lounge, in Mumbai, where they made a pitstop to promote their mad comedy film, which is incidentally a remake of the 1981 classic ‘Chashme Buddoor’, directed by Sai Paranjpe.
Divyendu and Taapsee looked uber cool, dressed in black and grey, as they spoke about all things ‘Chashme Baddoor’. Divyendu wore a grey striped shirt and jeans, while Taapsee chose a short, summery printed mini dress for the event.
Debutante Taapsee was ecstatic, as she said that shooting with director David Dhawan was like a picnic!
“It was an entertainment zone. We shot in Goa and it was like a picnic, a paid holiday for us. We have worked with one of the most successful commercial directors and that’s why we are in a safe zone,” the 25-year-old said
She added: “It is my first film and be ready to see a new girl in Bollywood. I hope to get more opportunities and appreciation. I am nervous because it’s my first Bollywood film but I am confident as well because we have put in a lot of hard work.”
