Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to get engaged in Sri Lanka?
Looks like another wedding is on cards for this Bollywood couple after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. Yes, a buzz has it that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are planning to take their relationship to a next level. If reports are to be believed, Ranveer and Deepika are getting engaged on Padukone’s birthday, this Friday. Yes, you read that right!
Reportedly, the two will be exchanging rings in Sri Lanka away from Mumbai’s hustle bustle. Following the footsteps of Virat and Anushka, Deepika and Ranveer have decided to get engaged in another country.
Deepika and Ranveer, who celebrated their New Year at a resort in the Maldives with their respective families, will be reportedly flying to Sri Lanka for Deepika Padukone’s birthday, which is on January 5.
As per a report in India Today, post birthday, the engagement is supposed to take place in the country. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding their engagement from the couple as well as from their families.
If Ranveer and Deepika are indeed tying the knot this year, we are super excited for another big fat wedding in tinsel town.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might not have openly accepted their relationship but that they are together is quite evident. If they are indeed taking their relationship to the next level, it comes as welcome news for fans.
On the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will be seen next in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. The period drama, which also stars Shahid Kapoor, will release this year.
