Dilip Kumar, the very first superstar of Bollywood is all set to tell his story, a story from an unknown newcomer to a Bollywood Super Star, a story we surely know would be an inspiring one.
Dilip Kumar’s biography titled Dilip Kumar: The Substance And The Shadow; has been penned by Udaya Tara Nayar, now has captured this story in a biography of the star.
Dilip Kumar’s biography was supposed to be launched on his birthday last year but then it got delayed due to Dilip Kumar’s ill health. Well now the official date of the launch is out.
June 09, 2014 will see Dilip Kumar and all his family and close friends shall gather at the biography’s unveiling, which will take place by the hands of Amitabh Bachchan.
If sources close to the veteran actor are to be believed, then Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan might also come together at the launch.
“The book will be launched by Mr. Bachchan, who has been a great admirer of Sir’s craft. Dharmendra, who is also very close to Dilip Saab, will also be present at the event. Other celebrity invitees include Lata Mangeshkar.” informed a close associate of Dilip Kumar.
“Aamir Khan shall definitely be there. Shah Rukh and Salman have also been invited. The three of them are in the city at that time and have already made changes in their schedules to attend the function,” says the source.
Dilip Kumar: The Substance and the Shadow, has been published by Hay House India and Penguin Books India.
