The late. Rajesh Khanna’s live-in partner Anita Advani has asked for a hefty compensation for throwing her out of Rajesh-Dimple’s Carter Road flat in Bandra. Dimple however has refused to do an out of court settlement.

MUMBAI: Actress-entrepreneur Dimple Kapadia has apparently refused an out of court settlement with Rajesh Khanna’s alleged live-in partner Anita Advani.

The case dates back to the time when superstar Rajesh Khanna’s alleged live-in partner Anita Advani was shown the way out, from the actor’s Carter Road house ‘Ashirwad’ in Bandra after the actor’s death.

It is the same house where Dimple Kapadia, her daughters Twinkle Khanna, Rinkie Khanna and son-in-law Akshay Kumar spend family time together.

Anita Advani had filed a complaint against the family for allegedly throwing her out forcefully and under the Domestic Violence Act, and claimed maintenance. She also had alleged that Dimple Kapadia took signatures of Rajesh Khanna on the will papers forcibly knowing the fact that the late actor was not medically fit to sign the papers.

The proceedings were stayed when the Khanna family moved to the High Court. Dimple Kapadia had challenged all complaints made against her by Anita Advani and claimed that no one else apart from her was the legally wedded wife of Rajesh Khanna.

After numerous hearings in the court, it was reported that Anita Advani had agreed to settle the matter amicably, through an out-of-court settlement but Dimple Kapadia has refused the same.

A source close to the actress said, “Anita has conveyed that she wants to sort the case with a settlement. But Dimpleji has refused…Dimpleji feels Anita tried to take undue advantage of the situation and also tried to garner publicity and sympathy by suing the family members after the demise of Kakaji.”

Whatever be the outcome of this case, for now it looks like Dimple Kapadia does not want to go easy and simple!
