Bollywood veteran actor Vinod Khanna was hospitalized on Friday night due to severe dehydration.  Everyone was shocked to see Vinod Khanna looking so frail in the picture that had gone viral on social media yesterday. A picture of him surfaced online yesterday where Khanna was seen in the hospital uniform along with his son and wife. The picture of the unwell actor had left us sad. In fact, after his picture went viral, reports claimed that the veteran actor is suffering from bladder cancer. However, family and doctors did not speak about the actor’s health.

Later in the day, Vinod Khanna’s son Rahul Khanna had confirmed that his father is recovering and will be discharged soon. He also thanked everyone for good wishes.

Now with great news, doctors have confirmed that the actor is stable and is responding positively to treatment. One of the doctors from the hospital has confirmed that Vinod Khanna was admitted to Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Friday with severe dehydration. He also asked everyone to maintain the privacy of the family.

Yesterday, actor Irrfan Khan had also wished a speedy recovery to the veteran actor. “My good wishes and prayers with him. I hope he gets well soon. If needed, I’ll donate one of my organs to him. I think he is the most beautiful person in the entire industry,” Irrfan told reporters at the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Hindi Medium’.

“I saw his photo today and I was shocked. I pray to God for his good health,” he added.

Recalling Khanna’s work, Irrfan said, “I have seen all of his films. I still remember his ‘Khoon Pasina’, ‘Mera Gaon Mera Desh’. He is one of the most handsome man, extremely beautiful.”

Vinod is a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab.
