Bollywood celebrities often fall into trouble for making salacious remarks, taking digs at each other and passing comments too. One such famous example is of Emraan Hashmi, who had made a comment on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the year 2014. We all know Aishwarya and Emraan Hashmi have not worked together or ever spotted bonding together.
Recently, there were rumours that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was in talks to be the lead actress in the upcoming ‘Baadshaho’ opposite Emraan Hashmi. This apparently could not happen as Emraan Hashmi had made a comment on Aish in the year 2014 on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’.
To people who don’t know, during rapid fire round on Karan Johar’s talk show, Emraan was asked to name an actor/actress that comes to his mind at the mention of the word ‘plastic’. The actor immediately replied, ‘Aishwarya’. This comment surely did not go well for Aishwarya but looks like, Emraan Hashmi is too upset for making such comment.
During a promotional event for his upcoming film ‘Raaz Reboot’, the actor was asked about his tiff with Aishwarya. The actor was surprised with the question but even went ahead to reply. He said, “I don’t know who was approached for the role of the leading lady but it’s like going back into history… that remark was made two years ago. The statement was made in jest and it’s all for the hamper.”
“I am a big fan of Aishwarya and if I meet her I will definitely apologise because there was nothing personal. Karan just nudges you and makes you say these things. I haven’t had the chance to meet her. She would have forgotten this incident but obviously she was reminded of it because of articles in newspapers,” he added.
We hope Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is listening to Emraan Hashmi‘s apology!
