One of the most popular and ongoing trends in Bollywood has been the remake of the films. The filmmakers are trying their hands on remaking the films and in some way, the formula is working. Ravi Jadhav, a renowned Marathi filmmaker, who has stepped in Bollywood with Riteish Deshmukh–Nargis Fakhri-starrer Banjo, was asked if he would like to make a remake of his own films.
The director had one film of his films in mind and that was Balgandharva, which starred Subodh Bhave. Recently, the director revealed that he would like to remake the same Marathi film into Bollywood film. But then he also does not want to make the same old movie, which he has already experienced what it is to work on that subject.
The director has no plans to make the film but when asked , Who’d he suggest to play the title role? And comes the reply, “Ranbir Kapoor.”
Well, how exciting it would be to see Ranbir Kapoor in a biopic on the life of Balgandharva. Should there be a biopic on Balgandharva, played by Ranbir Kapoor?
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen soon for the promotions of his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the lead role.
