Salman Khan Films is churning out different films every year. Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Hero released in the same year and Tubelight has been wrapped up.
They are planning three films simultaneously – none of which will star Salman Khan. Instead, Salman has himself decided to choose some of the best of the young talent for his films. One of the films his banner has announced was Jugalbandi.

Although there are rumours of the film being put on the backburner, Salman who loves music is close to the story for its theme. They are reviving Jugalbandi with a new script and a lot of alterations in the plot. Jacqueline Fernandez was initially slated to play the lead role, but Salman has picked someone else over her.
A source from the team reveals, “Salman is really keen on working with Kriti Sanon. He wanted her in Sultan which didn’t work out. Now, although he has not signed her, he has approached Kriti for Jugalbandi and one more production venture.”
Soon, we might see Salman giving Kriti a film opposite himself too.
