On one hand, it captures the warm moment between Shahid and Shraddha, where both of them are just about to kiss each other and on the other, it shows Shahid Kapoor dripping with blood. In another poster Shahid Kapoor is seen holding a skull in his hand and also has a scar on his face. Well, he looks deadly and you cannot take your eyes off him.
Shahid Kapoor could not hold his excitement and tweeted the first look on twitter with the captioned, “Haider And Arshia.”
Set in Kashmir, Haider became the talk of the town when Shahid Kapoor decided to go bald for his role. His fans took to social networking websites urging him not to do so. Shahid Kapoor went ahead, almost shaved off his head and the result was for everyone to see. He looked intense and had all his women fans go crazy over him.
Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, the movie is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. It also features Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon.
With Haider, Vishal Bharadwaj is said to complete his trilogy on William Shakespeare, his earlier two being Maqbool (Macbeth) and Omkara (Othello).
Haider is set for an October 02, 2014 release.[/tps_footer]
