MUMBAI: Raj Kumar Gupta will be a very happy man. His third film ‘Ghanchakkar’ has received a U/A rating from the censor board.
Raj Kumar Gupta says that ‘Ghanchakkar’ is an out-and-out masala entertainer. “I expect full families to come and see this comic-thriller,” the director says.
‘Ghanchakkar’ is the first time Raj Kumar Gupta has added a comic aspect to his films. Both his previous films ‘Aamir’ and ‘No One Killed Jessica’ were a thriller and a suspense drama, respectively.
‘Ghanchakkar’ stars Vidya Balan as a Punjabi housewife and Emraan Hashmi as her Maharashtrian husband who has lost his memory. The music is by Amit Trivedi.
‘Ghanchakkar’ releases on 28 June, 2013.
