MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar teaming up with Sonakshi Sinha once again is not news for Bollywood die-hard fans. However, Govinda joining in to shoot for ‘Pistol’, which stars Akki and Sonakshi, is!
Yesterday, funny man Govinda dropped by the sets of ‘Pistol’, which has Akshay and Sonakshi in lead roles, and is a remake of 2012’s super hit Tamil film ‘Thuppakki’. The Hindi remake is directed by A.R Murugadoss, who directed the original Tamil version as well.
Akshay, Sonakshi and Govinda were spotted on sets, shooting a crucial scene in Mumbai.
Akshay chose a navy blue tee and jeans as he waved out to his loyal fans waiting outside the shoot venue, while Sonakshi stuck to her usual traditional avatar in a pink sari. Govinda wore a maroon tee and a grey jacket, to match his colourful on-screen persona of yore.
‘Pistol’ is slated for a January, 2014 release. It was recently also revealed that ‘Skyfall’ director Greg Powell will be directing the action scenes in the film.
