However things seem to have changed now. Reports suggest that Kareena has been dropped from the fourth edition of the Golmaal franchise.
And the actress to replace Kareena is none other than her huge fan, often known as mini Bebo herself, Alia Bhatt.
Yes, you heard that right. Apparently, Alia is shortlisted by director Rohit Shetty to play the role which was earlier going to be played by Kareena Kapoor. A source close to the director confirmed that Rohit even spoke to her regarding the issue.
Alia has called herself a huge fan of Kareena all the time. The petite actress even has said things like “Kareena is my role model”, “I aspire to become Kareena,” and “I want to star in the remakes of Kareena’s films,” in the past.

In fact, the role portrayed by her in her debut Student Of The Year even won her the title of ‘mini Bebo.’
Well, now that Alia‘s wishes have come true, we hope that the young actress satisfies and impresses Kareena by playing the role which was earlier played by the former in the franchise.
The shoot of the fourth installment is set to go on the floors come December.
