MUMBAI: The immensely talented and underrated actor Sonu Sood is also a fitness buff (as if you couldn’t guess, seeing his enviable physique!)
It was precisely this talent that Farah Khan wanted to tap into, while shooting her latest romcom musical ‘Happy New Year’ in Dubai. Reportedly, Farah had asked her stars not to bring along their personal trainers for the outdoor schedule.
Sonu has allegedly volunteered to take care of the fitness needs of all the stars of ‘Happy New Year’ – Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivaan Shah and Boman Irani.
Farah was overheard saying: “Shah Rukh, Sonu goes to the gymnasium twice a day and he has volunteered to personally supervise all the actors’ workout sessions”
To which SRK quipped: “Yaar, I forgot Sonu is on the set with us. I will ensure that I do not take off my shirt when Sonu is around, his six packs may give me sleepless nights!”
So perhaps in addition to seeing his name up in lights with the title credits, Sonu may also see an additional credit to his name – Fitness Trainer!
