[tps_footer]Taking after yet another macho He-Man of Bollywood, i.e. Akshay Kumar, the handsome and fit Harman Baweja was seen supporting the cause of martial arts in India, here at Lavasa.

The actor, and star of films like Love Story 2050 and Dhishkiyaon, was present at the launch of “Cheetah JKD Lavasa: Advanced Module Academy”. The courses are specifically designed for martial arts enthusiasts, and customised modules will be made too.

Harman was happy and pleased as punch to be associated with the venture, because the actor is reportedly a fitness buff and martial arts practitioner himself. He said that he had trained with Chitah Yajness Shetty in the past, and that the art “requires concentration and has to be performed away from noisy urban backdrop. Lavasa will fill that role.”

From April 18, 2014 onwards, the scenic town of Lavasa will see India’s largest Martial Arts festival take place. Said Nathan Andrews, President Lavasa Corporation Limited, “The objective of the festival is to promote Lavasa as a sporting destination. The city aims to host some fifty thousand students in next thee to four years.”

Harman Baweja, who is rumoured to be dating Bipasha Basu, said he was extremely pleased to come on board. Dressed in a loose grey V-neck tee and jeans, the handsome actor showed off his bulging biceps, and even displayed a few martial art moves.
