Harman is hopeful that his acting career is resurrected with Dishkiyaoon. Harman has gone in for a complete make over for the film and looks more muscular and powerful.
“I was away from Bollywood and had taken a backseat as I wanted to do something different from what I have not done in the past. This film means a lot to me,” stated a very upbeat Harman Baweja.
Also Dishkiyaoon has been a very challenging project for Harman, “I have never done such an intense action pact gangster look. But it was fun, I met few gangsters did some research and saw the wild side of myself which I have never seen before.” stated a very confident Harman.
Currently Harman Baweja along with his leading lady, Ayesha Khanna are busy promoting the movie. Dishkiyaoon is Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra‘s maiden venture as producers.
The film is about two men who are on their way to make it big in the world of crime. The story revolves around a gangster Viki Kartoos (Harman Baweja) and action man Lakwa (Sunny Deol). Dishkiyaoon also stars Aditya Pancholi and Prashant Narayanan in pivotal roles.
Very few people know this but Dishkiyaoon was actually conceptualized as a short film. Its duration was just meant to be fifteen minutes and first time director Sanamjit SinghTalwar, who had come from America to India so as to make a career in Bollywood, just wanted the short film to act as a show reel for him.
Dishkiyaoon is about the Mumbai Underworld. The film has been directed by Sanamjit Singh Talwar and is set to hit the silver screen on March 28, 2014.[/tps_footer]
