According to sources, at a recent event, when the Chennai Express was asked about Padmavati, she ignored it and stated that she can’t talk anything about it. Well, we can understand that the actors must be given instruction to keep the details confidential. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in titular roles. Ranveer will be playing Sultan Allauddin Khilji’s role, where Sasha will be portraying Padmavati’s husband Rawal Ratan Singh in the film. SLB had to face a lot of issues in the casting of the film. Deepika and Ranveer have always been his first choice for Padmavati. But, a few days ago there were reports of things not going well between Bhansali and his blue-eyed boy, Ranveer.
Apparently, Shahid demanded some changes in the script and this is what had upset the Gunday actor. Well, things are now fine between the two as Bhansali managed to convince Ranveer.
On the other hand, Deepika has a Hollywood release in 2017. She is a part of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, also starring Vin Diesel in the lead role. The film will hit the screens on January 20, 2017.
