Bollywood industry has two different opinions about the ban. Celebs like Sharman Joshi, Hema Malini have supported the ban, whereas celebs like Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Radhika Apte and many more are not in the support of the ban. The Raman Raghav 2 actor is in complete favour of the ban. Nawaz says that the situation between India and Pakistan is very sensitive and they (Pakistani actors) should leave India.
When he was asked that other few actors are in favour of Pakistani actors and he doesn’t belong to that group, the actor added that it is not about with which group of actors he belongs to. It is a matter of our country. Aur desh se badhkar kuch nahi hai. (There is nothing superior to our country).
The actor was last seen in Freaky Ali, in which he gave a spectacular performance, however, the film tanked at the box office. Well, his film Raees has a Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, so his reaction to the threats of the boycott of his next film is awaited. Raees stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, and Nawaz plays a cop in the film. Raees will be releasing on January 26, 2017.
