Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been the undisputed king of Box Office since years and continuous to be with his recently released film Sultan. Salman Khan’s Sultan is riding high at the box office, breaking many records and is beating opening day collections of many big films. Going by the response of the audience and critics, Salman and Anushka Sharma starrer Sultan is currently heading for a long run at the Box Office after amazing three days collection i.e Rs 106 crore.
It seems Salman Khan is meant to break the records of other Bollywood films. His past Box Office records prove that nobody can replace him to be the king of the trade market in coming years. Blockbuster film Sultan is waiting to mint huge at the Box Office and producer Yash Raj Films (YRF) couldn’t be happier. But hold your breath as Salman Khan is all set to start a new trend in Bollywood.
Yes, the superstar will walk away with Rs.100 crore plus as remuneration and will turn out to be first of any actor in India to bag this huge sum. Though Salman is not involved with the production of the film but he will reportedly take away 50:50 partnership for the profits. Reports suggest, the cost of production, excluding Khan’s remuneration, was Rs.60 crore, plus promotion expense of Rs 20 crore. The told making cost of Sultan becomes Rs 80 crore. Undoubtedly, being a Salman Khan film the producers had a perfect idea about Sultan’s box office numbers and that’s how YRF and Khan shook hands on a 50:50 partnership for the profits.
Not only that, satellite rights of the film have been sold to Sony for a whopping Rs.61 crore while the music rights are with YRF for the value of Rs.12 crore.
Well, now that the film is not stopping to earn big at the Box Office, it is sure that Sultan will break more records as the weekend has arrived. Hence, it is sure that Salman Khan will take away with at least Rs 100 crore as his remuneration. Well, we wish good luck to other stars of B-town as Salman Khan is all set to create a new mark.
