MUMBAI: Yes folks, you read that right! Bollywood superstar and Greek-God personified Hrithik Roshan is gearing up to turn party planner for his father’s birthday, which falls on 6 September.
Reportedly, Hrithik and his sister Sunaina are in full-on party-planning mode, personally supervising everything from the guest list, to the menu. Hrithik, who has been recovering from a post-injury brain surgery, is busy at work trying to ensure the party will be a memorable occasion for his filmmaker father.
Revealed a source close to the family, “Duggu (Hrithik) is the last person to throw parties. He usually prefers to spend time with his family and only attends parties when his friends insist. But he is really excited about this one. It will not be a big do, it will be a private but lavish affair.”
THE GUEST LIST:
The who’s who of the industry are expected to make an appearance at the bash. Friends of Rakesh and Pinky Roshan, including Jeetendra and Rishi Kapoor are expected to attend with their families. Among the younger lot, Hrithik’s friends like Karan Johar, Farhan Akhtar, Preity Zinta, Siddharth Anand and Katrina Kaif too are expected to come.
The A-lister guest list will also see names like Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut, who have starred together with Hrithik in his father’s upcoming superhero flick ‘Krrish 3’. Also on the cards will be Hrithik’s wife Suzanne’s close buddies like Gauri Khan and Zayed Khan.
THE MENU:
Sources said that the diligent, doting son Hrithik is busy finalising the menu now. The grand spread of delicacies will include personal favourites of his father, Rakesh Roshan.
