MUMBAI: Bollywood movie buffs now have more than one reason to watch the much-awaited ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara.’ It’s not just Akshay Kumar who is set to reprise Dawood Ibrahim, there’s Imran Khan who is set to do a Rishi Kapoor.

Remember Rishi Kapoor’s classic qawwali ‘Tayyab Ali Pyar Ka Dushman’ from the Manmohan Desai classic ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’? Imran Khan is set to reprise this epic qawaali in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara’

Balaji Motion Pictures have brought the rights of the song to recreate the original.

The song, shot over 6 days at Film City will feature Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. The original version of the song was picturised on Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.

The song is choreographed by Raju Khan and sung by Javed Ali, the golden voice behind Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Rockstar.’

It will be interesting to see Imran Khan play a loud character for the first time in his career and the qawwali is an icing on the cake surely.

Whether he is able to match the iconic Rishi Kapoor or go a step ahead of him, will have to wait and watch. For now, all we can see is this topping the music charts already. Eagerly awaited.
