MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Imran Khan reportedly charged a whopping Rs 11 crore for his upcoming gangster flick ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2’ (OUATIM 2).
A source close to the actor said, “Imran’s career has seen steady growth thanks to his fan following. His next big release is Milan Luthria’s OUATIM 2 that also stars Akshay Kumar. Imran is paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the film. The figure he is believed to be earning is Rs. 11 crore.” However, Imran’s spokesperson did not wish to comment on this news.
Imran Khan will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre in the film, which is directed by Milan Luthria. ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai 2’ is a sequel to the 2010 hit film ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’.
Imran Khan has worked in successful films like ‘Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na’ (2008), ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ (2010), ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ (2011), ‘Delhi Belly’ (2011), ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ (2012) and ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ (2013), which certainly has added up to the rising stars demand in the industry.
The in demand actor is currently busy shooting for Punit Malhotra’s ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’ with the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor, reliving the ‘Ek Mein Aur Ekk Tu’ magic. He also will be seen opposite Priyanka Chopra in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Milan Talkies’.
