MUMBAI: Indie film, ‘Ship of Theseus’, directed by Anand Gandhi has won the hearts of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and his experimental filmmaker wife Kiran Rao. So much so that the latter decided to produce the special film.
The film has already won accolades and critical acclaim at several international film festivals, and is gearing up for an India release next month.
At an interaction with the media, Kiran spoke about her decision to produce the film : “Aamir saw the film and he really liked it. He said nurture this film and give it a special release.”
‘Ship Of Theseus’, directed by Anand Gandhi, is an indie film that explores questions of identity, justice, life and death through three separate stories. The film will release on 19 July, 2013 in India.
