MUMBAI: We’d brought you news of Shah Rukh Khan’s temporary stopover in Muscat, where he enthralled fans with his Valentine’s day performance. And now, we bring to our readers the exclusive pictures and the low-down of what happened at the power packed, star-studded high-octane V-day concert in Oman.

The King and his court ruled at the specially arranged Valentine’s concert in Oman, Muscat. SRK was electrifying with his ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ co-star Katrina Kaif; And his bubbly co-star from films like ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and ‘Dil Se’ Preity Zinta, along with singers Ali Zafar and Shalmali Kholgade (of ‘Pareshaan’ fame). The quartet rocked on with some very desi beats to please the NRI audiences, and judging by the crowds (15,000 plus strong!) and their raw enthusiasm, our Bollywood celebrities succeeded in this regard!

Shah Rukh took to the stage and performed his latest and greatest hits, including ‘Chammak Challo’ from his sci-fi film ‘Ra.One’, ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ from ‘Dil Se’ (in a trademark red jacket) and even the teeny bopper songs from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. He then went on to enact his trademark romantic pose, which had the women in the audience swooning.

Soon, SRK was joined on- stage by Preity Zinta, with whom he performed to superhits from ‘Veer Zaara and ‘Dil Se’. Preity even had a solo number from ‘Mission Kashmir’ which she performed admirably. Katrina accompanied SRK on stage for a rendition of ‘Saans’ and ‘Ishq Shava’: their two super-hit songs from ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Katrina had a sizzling solo performance to ‘Mashallah’ from ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, where she stunned everyone with her inimitable belly dancing moves.

Ali Zafar and Shalmali Kholgade also put up a splendid show, and we must mention how much we loved Ali’s very chic court jester outfit: jodhpur pants, a white shirt and a royal red bandhgala waistcoat-jacket.
