MUMBAI: ‘Bond. James Bond’ The all-too-familiar dialogue mouthed by the world’s most famous cinematic spy, could soon well be, “My name is Khan… James (Bond) Khan,” if the Baadshah Khan has his way!

Shah Rukh Khan was his usual witty, media savvy self, at the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ press conference held yesterday, in Mumbai.

The suave speaker was effortlessly charming, as he promoted his upcoming film in the graceful company of his two leading ladies, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Shah Rukh seemed to have recovered from the unfortunate loss of his favourite filmmaker and father figure, Yash Chopra, and was once again seen cracking up the media with his witty one liners.

When asked if he would like to play the role of the British secret agent, James Bond, SRK quipped that he would do it in his own imitable style, and proceeded to mouth the now hilarious dialogue.

The trio even posed in the legendary Bond style, and the shutterbugs went crazy at this visual! One could almost see Daniel Craig’s soul in our very own future Desi Bond’s body.

He was also seen singing praise of both his co-stars, Katrina and Anushka, whom he shares sizzling chemistry with in the film. Narrating his signature lines from the title poem of the film, SRK was seen wooing both his screen ladies on stage, amidst much excited giggles from the ladies.

They also spoke at length about the film being a tribute to the deceased filmmaker, who had put his heart and soul into making this film. They vowed to make the premiere grand, in order to pay their last respects to the legendary director. Earlier, Chopra Saab’s wife Pamela Chopra too, had emotionally acknowledged this film to be Chopra’s incomplete swan song, and she had announced the family’s plans to pay homage to the man by premiering the film in the most grand and opulent way possible.

The trailers, promos and songs from the film have already generated tremendous buzz in the industry, and advance booking for the film has already opened in several theatres and multiplexes across the country.

The film will see a big release on 13th November, Diwali day.
