JAI HO: Introducing Salman Khan As ‘Social Crusader’

MUMBAI: Its finally official that Salman Khan’s Mental is now called ‘Jai Ho’ and will hit the silver screen on January 24, 2014.

‘Jai Ho’ is the title that Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan approved off.  It conveys a message about eradicating corruption and Salman Khan plays a social crusader. The film would pitch Salman as a hero of the masses in a socially relevant theme.

Salman Khan is known for encouraging new talents like Katrina Kaif, Zarine Khan, Sneha Ullal, Hazel Keech of ‘Bodyguard’ fame and Himesh Reshammiya among others.

Pulkit Samrat who made his Bollywood debut with ‘Bittoo Boss’ and was last seen in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Fukrey’ will also be seen in a cameo sharing screen space with Salman Khan in ‘Jai Ho’.

Pulkit’s role may be small or more of a guest appearance, but it will feature the actor in a crucial scene in the film. Salman has been very supportive towards Pulkit.

‘Jai Ho’ directed by Sohail Khan also stars Tabu.
