MUMBAI: “It is learnt that Jiah Khan had attempted suicide by slitting her wrist around eight months ago,” says a Juhu police probing the case of Jiah Khan.
This makes it pretty obvious that frequent mood swings and disturbances in her relationship caused Jiah Khan, to take the drastic step again and that too, after a failed first attempt.
Her mother Rabea Khan reportedly has told the Juhu police that the actress was depressed due to relationship issues and she did not have any financial insecurity. The actress had been dating Aditya Pancholi’s son Sooraj Pancholi for over a year.
The police interrogated Sooraj Pancholi with whom Jiah Khan alias Nafisa Khan interacted and spoke last. Sooraj Pancholi admitted to have being in a relationship with Jiah Kah for over a year and they did have minor troubles but it was not expected of Jiah Khan to take such a step.
The police have also recovered a pack of Ayurvedic sleeping pills from her bedroom.
Actress Zarina Wahab, mother of Sooraj Pancholi says, “I just know they were in a relationship for a year. Every relationship has its ups and downs, but that does not justify anyone ending their life.”
