[tps_footer]John Abraham attended the 11th alumni meet of Jai Hind College as the Chief Guest. The event took place recently at the Nehru Centre Auditorium, Worli, Mumbai.
John is an alumnus of the college, which boasts some big names in its alumni list, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Isha Kopikar, Malaika Arora Khan, Ramesh Sippy, Sunil Dutt, Neeta Lulla, Atul Kasbekar, Hiten Tejwani, Natasha Suri and Ajay Piramal.
Speaking at the event, John said: “I am one of the blessed proud Jai Hindites who not only did his major in economics from Jai Hind but like any other student roamed around roads A and B. Today being called here as a chief guest makes me feel really embarrassed. I would love to be associated with Jai Hind Alumni Association and my professors who still scold me as an ex student only.”
John was recently in the news as he had tied the knot with his girlfriend Priya Runchal in a private ceremony in Los Angeles. The news came as a real surprise to many in the film industry.
On the career front, John will soon be seen in Anees Bazmee‘s Welcome Back, a sequel to the 2007 blockbuster Welcome. The film is expected to hit the silver screen during Christmas time this year and is likely to clash with Ranbir Kapoor‘s Bombay Velvet at the Box Office.
Meanwhile, the 11th alumni meet of Jai Hind College, one also saw the presence of Prof N.W.
