MUMBAI: There has been constant buzz about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan having thoughts of making a comeback to Bollywood. The actress was last seen in ‘Guzaarish’ directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But looks like the actor is planning a return with Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’.
It isn’t a full-fledged role (would really had been interesting if it was) but an item number. Remember ‘Kajrare’ from ‘Bunty Aur Babli’? Well who can forget that? After all it had the Bachchan parivar grooving together, with those latkas and thumkas.
There are insider sources who say that Aishwarya Rai has been approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a special number. Though nothing has been finalised yet, Aishwarya Rai is pretty keen on considering the offer.
While for the same song, there are reports that Bhansali approached Madhuri Dixit (recently seen with Ranbir in ‘Ghagra’) and Sonakshi SInha. Both the actress have denied the rumors of doing the number.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, says, “Not True. First it was Madhuri’s name and now its is Aishwarya’s.”
The insider source however says that Sanjay Leela Bhansali will not speak about it as the plans are in an infancy stage as of now.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on the other hand has been receiving quite a few offers as well. It ranges from special appearances to full fledged roles. Some directors like Karan Johar and Sriram Raghavan have approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with scripts as well.

It will be great to see Aishwarya Rai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali re-create the magic in ‘Ram Leela’ after their successful association in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas’.
‘Ram Leela’ stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. It is slated to be released on 15 November. For now we will just wait to see if Aishwarya Rai Bachchan marks a royal return!
